Elastomer compounds for cable filling – provide mechanical protection, dimensional stability, and electrical insulation inside the cable.

Our light-colored and black cable filling compounds, based on butyl rubber and EPDM/EPM, are used to fill the voids inside power and control cables. They prevent moisture ingress, improve the mechanical stability of the cable cross-section, and contribute to electrical safety. The filling compounds available from K&K Elastomere are specifically tailored to the requirements of the cable industry – with defined flow properties for machine processing, good adhesion to the conductors, and compatibility with the sheath materials used. They are an indispensable component in the manufacture of high-quality cables for the power and infrastructure sectors.
